| Untitled Batik Using a paint brush, dyes and flowing wax Batik is created with colour upon glowing colour. My subjects tend to be mammals, humans, aquatic life or vegetation. I was introduced to the process in 1978 at the Kootenay School of the Arts, where I studied for 2 years. I continue to explore and enjoy the medium. Artist: Amber

Rice Bowls Pottery Mary-Ann is a self taught potter who has been working as a production potter for the past 7 years. Her work is sold through-out British Columbia, Alberta and Washington State. Her signature pieces are variable sizes and styles of rice bowls, the flat bottomed tea pots and Japanese flower Tiles. She does custom orders, wholesale, and a select amount of retail shows a year.
