Dorothy Blunden has been a resident of the Windermere Valley for nearly twenty years. A member of the Windermere District Historical Society, she has served as curator of the Windermere Valley Museum for over ten years. In her past life, after leaving teaching, she wrote a monthly column for a senior’s magazine, was the CEO of the Golden Age Club in Calgary, and served on the board of directors of Fort Calgary Preservation Society. Today she is on the Board of Directors of the Heritage Federation of Southeastern B.C., continues her interest in genealogy through instructing courses, leading the local genealogy group and searching out her own ‘roots’.
