Laura Williams Claiming the title of being one of the newest residents of the region, Laura has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer of Fort Steele Heritage Town and is enjoying being a ‘tourist’ in her own right as she experiences all the Kootenay region has to offer. Hailing from Northern BC, she has had the pleasure of working within the non-profit industry throughout her professional career as part of both science and heritage museums and attractions. The extra curricular activities that are closest to her heart include chairing a youth sport initiative affectionately called ‘operation red nose’ for the past two years and sitting as a parent advisor for maternity and pediatric infrastructure development recently completed at the Prince George Regional Hospital.
